Dexterity Professional Development and the Canadian Sport Massage Therapists Association (CSMTA) have worked in collaboration to develop a suite of sport massage online courses. The combined content of all 4 courses is equivalent to the 1-day CSMTA certification.
This program prepares participants with the knowledge and practical techniques for providing sport massage on-site before, during, and after an athletic event. Learn the fundamentals of sport massage from the CSMTA and how to treat athletic patients.
The manual therapist who takes these courses will expand their skill-set enabling them to treat athletic patients and grow their practice. The skills in this Certificate Program are appropriate for massage therapists and other manual therapists on-site at an athletic event as part of a healthcare team.
The CSMTA has worked closely with Dexterity Professional Development to provide an online basic introduction to Sport Massage. Looking for a refresher or know someone thinking about getting into Sport Massage, then this is the course you are looking for.
