  This course is ideal for Massage Therapists, Physiotherapists, Athletic Therapists and Sport Chiropractors who would like to improve their knowledge and skills of working with athletes in any environment.  It will provide participants with Sport Massage theory and practical techniques that can be utilized at sporting events, with athletic teams, or in their own clinic setting. The knowledge and practical experience that participants will gain would be of great benefit for anyone working with athletes at any level including those who will be working with athletes at any Major Games or Olympic Games.

  • Located in St. Laurent Shopping Centre on lower floor with access to the food court featuring Manchu Wok, New York Fries, Subway, A&W, KFC, Marcello's Burger and  Beef, Jimmy the Greek, and more

  Attendee Equipment requirements:

  • Bring your own sheet and face piece to facilitate the transition between practical sessions
  • Bring your own lotion or oil
  • Please wear or bring shorts and athletic attire

  Ce cours sera présenté en anglais.
  

  Ce cours est idéal pour les massothérapeutes, les physiothérapeutes, les thérapeutes du sport et les chiropraticiens du sport qui souhaitent améliorer leurs connaissances et leurs compétences pour travailler avec des athlètes dans n'importe quel environnement. Il fournira aux participants la théorie du massage sportif et des techniques pratiques qui peuvent être utilisées lors d'événements sportifs, avec des équipes sportives ou dans leur propre clinique. Les connaissances et l'expérience pratique que les participants acquerront seront d'un grand bénéfice pour toute personne travaillant avec des athlètes de tout niveau, y compris pour ceux qui travailleront avec des athlètes lors de Jeux majeurs ou de Jeux Olympiques.
